- Inside Mount: Measure the inside width at the top of the window and provide us with your finished measurement. The factory will automatically deduct at least 3/8" from the headrail width (not the fabric) to ensure a proper fit. For height, use the exact window height or slightly taller. Minimum window depth is 2" (2 1/2" for motorized shades). If the depth is insufficient, please choose outside mount.
- Outside Mount: We provide additional side pieces of fabric at the top to hide the wood (Alum. Headrail without side cover). To avoid light gaps, measure your window frame's width and add 4 to 6 inches (2-3 inches on each side). For height, add 4 inches to your measurement. If you want to expose more of the window, please consider adding extra height.
- Important Note: Swag shades form curved folds when raised and lie flat when fully lowered. Different lining options may slightly affect the final fabric color.
