The precision threading die must screw into the cut thread of a work piece by hand, without excessive force. If it doesn't, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (defective). All parts and gauges are referenced at 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL provides a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent lab, following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI), using IAC thread scanners.
