The Gutlehrdorn should screw into the cut thread of a workpiece by hand, without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (i.e., it's defective). All workpieces and gauges are referenced at 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate. Independent lab calibration follows set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescanner.
